The Winter Warmer event in February is always popular. It’s held one of my favourite Edinburgh singing venues, Columcille where each year Jennie Fisk and I are joined by another leader for a weekend of glorious harmony singing.
This time we’ll be welcoming the wonderful Anna Tabbush, choir director, songwriter and singer based in West Sussex. Her songs are popular with choirs across Britain and around the world including “Harbour”; a song she wrote in 2020 in support of refugees fleeing the war in Syria which has had over 20,000 downloads of the score and was recently featured on BBC comedy drama Juice. She currently sings with vocal quartet Oaken and travels around the country running singing workshops and performing as a singer-songwriter.
