The Gatherings – October

My vision for The Gatherings was to teach fairly simple things and just to have a really good sing once a month. I’d been planning it for a while before Covid got in the way. So it was an amazing moment when, at last, in June 2022 we met in East Linton at The Mart – the old cattle mart, now transformed as an events venue.
I was joined by Neil Squires (bass) and Christine Carson (piano) and the morning exceeded our expectations. The singing was glorious as were the acoustics of The Mart. And it was all topped off by the great addition of fresh coffee and home-made cakes. No better way to spend a Saturday morning! So come join us for Octobers’s Gathering and join the fun. PLEASE NOTE that at the time of writing the venue for October is not definite. If the weather is still good we’ll meet at the Mart, but if it’s feeling a bit chilly we’ll head over to our ‘Winter Venue’ at East Linton Community Hall.
