SongTribe opens the doors to anyone to come along and try out the choir for a ‘taster’ evening. Nothing to pay unless you decide to join. This term we’ll be singing some gorgeous new arrangements and songs and rehearsing towards a 12th Night Concert on 6th January.
My vision for The Gatherings was to teach fairly simple things and just to have a really good sing once a month. I’d been planning it for a while before Covid got in the way. So it was an amazing moment when, at last, in June 2022 we met in East Linton at The Mart – the old cattle mart, now transformed as an events venue. Here it is in all its glory!

Oh, I love this weekend! Each year we have a great couple of days singing our hearts out. Jennie Fisk, my co-leader, gets to join me on her home ground for once and it's become a regular fixture in our singing calendar – although it's not always at the same time of year.  Come join us - it's nice big room so there's room for about 70 without being too squashed.
These events have been set up to bring people together for a great day of singing. Ali Burns will be joined by Neil Squires and Christine Carson (piano) for this new venture of monthly Saturday morning singing where the getting together and having a good time is more important than the finished product.
