Description
This is an epic tangly forest of a song! There are 4 parts, each with different words and when sung together it creates something bigger than the sum of its parts. There are many ideas embedded in the text of the song: the idea of trees and wildness (and human) connection going back in time; a plea for humans to return to a wilder, greener way of life; and in the sop and alto parts ‘we pale the night and light the day…’ a hint of an idea that we as humans are living through a kind of chaos and searching, yearning for the wild.
